    I had to replace my battery today (03 Seat Toledo) & the stereo is now asking for the code.



    I called the dealer where I got the car & they say I need to take the car in & they will need to plug it into the diag-port to get the code ? I have checked all the hand book/leaflets I got with the car & no sign of the code.



    Can someone please help?

If you leave the stereo on for 1 hour, the "safe" lock will disappear & you can try & enter the code twice before it locks you out again.

You can turn the radio on with no key in the ignition, leave it on & lock the car with no problems - just remember to go back to it later, or you'll end up with a flat battery !

Dear All,

I have the standard cassette head unit with my 52 plate cupra and want to put it back in. Unfortunately, the previous keeper lost the code. My local dealer wants a ridiculous amount for no work..!

Radio code for seat aura stereo serial No sez2z6e3145764 made by grundig
Please check your Serial Number again to make sure it is correct. 

If it is correct , then unfortunately your code will not be available for free (or cheap) from anywhere on the Internet as this Serial Number is not in the available Grundig database.
 
It requires access to the original manufacturer`s database which is only available from your Main Dealer .(and a few of the larger Professional Radio Decode Specialists)
 
Otherwise try a Decoding Service or your local Car Radio / Audio Shop who will electronically "read "/ recode the memory chip (EEPROM) using a laptop and specialist software.
