Question about Rotary Thumlers Tumbler Polisher +media, rocks
My Rolling Stones Rock Tumbler does not have a rubber ''O'' ring gasket. I don't know if it ever had one. Does it require that I use one inside the rim?
Nothing high tech here. Try it without the o-ring. If the water does not start to leak out in the first 3 to 5 minutes of tumbling you will be ok. Stop it every day to check the water level.
Set the whole thing on a cookie sheet in case it does leak when you are not watching - you don't want a bunch of rock dust and polishing grit on your table or floor in the morning.
You will not damage anything by trying it without the o-ring.
