I have a yard man lawnmower briggs and stranten 6.75 hp and it won't start.I cleaned the spark plug and still won't start I take the plug out and it's wet.
You're still fighting with the large amount of fuel that was in it the first time it was flooded. One way to get the rest of it out, is to take the spark plug out, and pull the starting rope hard several times to force some of the fuel out. leave the plug out for a while, and pull it again every 10 minutes or so to introduce new air and get the fuel out. If you're not that patient, you can flash the cylinder, but be cautious with it. This is where you use a lighter to flash the cylinder. You can only do this if there's no fuel spilled on the mower, and never put your face near the spark plug hole; it will give a loud puff sound and you may have flames jet out, but only for a fraction of a second. Then put the spark plug in, and it will probably start first pull.
