Hi ,

Step one: Check the media and print settings

  1. While the printer is on, remove the power cord from the back of the printer, wait 30 seconds, and then plug the power cord into the back of the printer.
  2. If the printer is not already on, turn it on by pushing the power button.
  3. Replace any paper that is ripped, dusty, wrinkled, or bent. If the paper is curled, uncurl the paper by gently bending it in the opposite direction of the curl or replace the paper. NOTE: Use plain paper in the unit until the issue is resolved.
  4. Verify that all the paper is the same size and type.
  5. Tap the stack of paper on a flat surface to align the edges.
  6. Verify that the stack of paper to be loaded in the unit contains between 10 and 25 sheets of paper. NOTE: Do not load too much paper in the printer.
  7. Insert the stack of paper into the printer and then gently push the paper guides snugly against the paper.
  8. Adjust the paper settings in the print driver. The paper settings in the print driver must match the paper settings for at least one of the installed paper trays.
    1. Open a document in the application in which it was created.
    2. Click File .
    3. Click Print .
    4. Click Properties . The Printer Properties dialog box displays.
    5. Click the Paper/Quality tab.
    6. In the Size is drop-down menu, select the size of the paper loaded in the unit.
    7. In the Type is drop-down menu, select the type of paper loaded in the unit.
    8. Click OK .
NOTE: These changes do not change the default print settings. The print settings will revert to the default print settings the next time the application is opened.
  9. On the Print dialog box, click OK to print the document.
  10. Try printing again. If the issue is not solved, continue on to the next section.
NOTE: If the issue is resolved and you want to print on another type of media, change the paper in the unit and then repeat steps 2 through 7 for the new media. Step two: Clean the rollers
  1. Turn off the product and unplug the power cord.
  2. Open the access door to gain access to the rollers. Depending on the model, this is usually the rear access door. See the product user guide for information about locating the rollers.
  3. Clean the rubber rollers with a lint-free cloth, lightly moistened with water. NOTE: Distilled, filtered, or bottled water is recommended for cleaning the rollers. Tap water might contain contaminants that can damage the rollers.
  4. Make sure that any paper rollers that rest on the input tray, which are located behind the back rollers, are cleaned. A clean cotton swab, lightly moistened with water, might be necessary to reach these rollers.
  5. Close the access door and plug in the power cord.
  6. Try printing again. If the issue is not resolved, continue to the next step.
  7. Step three: Service the product If you have completed all the steps and are still experiencing a problem, service your product.
Any of the following issues can cause this issue:
  • The paper trays are empty or overloaded.
  • The paper is curled.
  • The print side, or shiny side, of the paper is not loaded in the tray face down. For photo paper, always load the rougher side of the paper facing up.
  • The paper is too slick for the product.
  • The paper might not be engaged with the feed rollers.
  • The paper-width guide is pressed against the paper stack too tightly.
  • The paper tray is not completely inserted into the product.
  • The paper settings in the print driver do not match the paper loaded in the paper tray.
  • The rubber paper-feed rollers are dusty.
Hope this would be helpful ....all the best

I cant get the paper to feed without jaming is ther a way to adjust the feed

When the paper does not feed straight, dirty or stickyrollers can cause it to jamb or crinkle, also failure to remove all traces ofpaper from a previous paper jamb will cause further paper jambs.
Check for tiny pieces of at the edges of the rollers, and remove these piecesof paper. The rollers may be dirty or sticky and causes the paper tonot feed straight.
Try cleaning the rollers with methylated spirits.

Lexmark X85 won't feed paper. When trying to

There could be something in the paper feeder that's blocking the paper path. Please follow steps below to identify and fix the problem:

1. Remove the sheets of paper from the feeder.

2. Grab a flashlight and look inside for any debris.

3. If you're willing and physically able, you may also turn the printer over. Any debris should just freely roll out from the feeder.

4. If feeder is clear, place the printer back on the table, open the printer cover and remove the cartridges.

5. Check the cartridge area for any obstructions/debris that could cause this error or problem.

6. If cartridge area is clear, close the cover.

7. Unplug and re-plug the printer into the power outlet to reset it.

8. When the printer turns on, reinsert the cartridges and load some paper. Try to print again.
ns Serif"'>6. When the printer turns on, reinsert one cartridge first.

I can't figure out how to load the paper into the Sharp EL1701v!!

Well depending on the model ther is often a small slot on the back of the calculator where the paper would feed through, you would push the paper in then press the feed key, which is often on the top left corner of the key pad. If you still cannot get the paper to load then call us at 1-800-BESHARP. or 1-800-237-4277.

Cannon mp210

Thers a sensor on the right hand side of the printer uder the metal bar. You will find that the actuator arm is up causing it to be on causing an E3 error. If you carefully push a flexable ruler from the top you can usually dislodge any foreign objects in the paper feed dont try to get it from the front you ll break the sensor arm rendering your printer useless

Paper wont load

You can try cleaning the rubber paper feed rollers, located where the paper feed into the printer. Use a rag moist with rubbing alcohol and rub all rollers thoroughly and this should help. Good luck John
