Check on windows control panel - computer management - disk management, you might find there is a hidden partition using all the space.
Try to reformat the whole flash disk , right click on it in MY Computer and click format. NB this will erase all data on the memory card

My psp cant read downloadble games from the internet when i remove my memory card and insert the new memory card

Hello

You need to copy all the files (you can leave the games and other media such as music, photos and videos) from your old memory card to your new memory card. You need those system files to play games.

Please rate.

Dear sir my Nokia Phone Not enough memory Nokia 5130 -2 Xpress Music

Welcome to FixYa!
To free some memory from your phone, you have to delete some of the pictures, music, videos, and/or text messages. You can also put in a memory card (if it doesn't have one) so it can hold plenty of text messages, pictures and music and videos.
A memory card looks like the picture below. jas247_75.jpg
You ca buy it online at this link http://astore.amazon.com/doityousol-20/detail/B001L1H0SC
Or you can go to your favorite cell phone shop.
Thank you for using FixYa. Have a great day.

I have connected my psp to pc through data transfer usb cable, when i connect it my computer recongize the psp as a storage hardware but i cannot see the components of the psp when i open it. and wen i...

The only thing that the psp allows you to see when you plug it in is the contents of the memory card. To be able to view videos and music on the psp the mp3/mp4 files must be put in the /MUSIC/ or /VIDEO/ folders (without the / 's ) on the root of the memory card, otherwise the psp cannot see the files.

8gb memory card corrupted.

If its cost a lot, it should have warranty. Go and ask for a replace. 7.63 GB is ok for a 8 GB card. cz, file system itself takes some space.

But i dont think the card is still good.

My music doesnt work when i sync it to my psp..how do i put music on my psp?

You must have a memory stick in your PSP to add music or pictures to it.

When I connect my PSP to my computer with USB or pull the memory stick out and stick it in a card reader, I can copy music directly into the (drive letter):\MUSIC directory. Then when I disconnect the PSP or reinsert the memory card into it, the music is there to play.

I want to put music, Movies, and videos on the PSP and dont know how. I want to put my things in my iTunes on the PSP. Can I do that and if so how?

I am not sure how to put them on from iTunes. But to put things on the PSP you need a memory card and either a USB cord to connect the PSP to the USB port in your computer or a SD card reader in your computer. After you have done either of those, you have to plug in either the PSP (with the memory card inserted in the PSP) or the memory card in SD card reader. Once you have done this, a screen should pop up on your computer, asking you how to open the files on the memory card or PSP. Select the one where the picture is a folder (should say browse) and open up the memory card folder. Open up the folder in your computer with the desired files. Highlight the files, right-click on the mouse and select Copy. Then go back to the memory card folder and right click on an open spot and select Paste. This should copy the files over, but, even though they copy over, that does not mean you can acess them through the PSP. That I know of, Microsoft Word files cannot be acessed through the PSP. That seems to be one of the only files unable to be used with the PSP.

Psp illiterate

Yes there is a way. What you will need is a PC, Some form of Memory stick Duo card Reader, And a PSP Compatible Memory stick Duo/Pro Duo.

If you havent already used the memory stick inside the PSP it will not have the correct Formatted file System for use in the PSP. but you can create the file system using your computer.

heres how to do it ! :

1) plug your Memory stick Duo/Pro Duo into the card reader on your computer.
2) open my computer, locate the Memory stick usually found under the "devices with removable storage" area.
3) once inside the memory stick, create 2 seperate folders. One called "PSP" and the other one called "MP_ROOT".
4) Navigate into the "PSP" Folder and create 3 Folders, "MUSIC", "PICTURE" & "VIDEO"
5) Copy & Paste the Necessary files into each Subsequent Sub-Folder within the "PSP" Folder.

Note : The PSP Can only handle Certain File types for Pictures, Music, And Video. i would suggest Navigating to http://psp.about.com/od/hardwarefirmware/p/compformat.htm before you transfer your files to ensure that you are adding files which are Viewable/Readable by The PSP's software.

Hope this helps !?

PSP videos

The problem can be the memory stick or within the PSP system itself. Try inserting another memory stick into the non functioning psp. If the problem still persist that means the memory card reader cannot read the files try formatting the whole psp system. If that doesn't work you will need to get it repaired take to an electronics store that sells video game systems preferably game stop they will swap out the memory card reader
