Replaced heater failed within 2 months

Hi, I replaced a low flow heater (e2550-02020et) for a Leisure Bay spa 2 1/2 months ago it was working fine and one day it just tripped the GFCI breaker upon inspection I noticed that it is leaking from the top and bottom nuts of the heating element. Also the spa has a small circulation pump that circulates the water thru the heater and also controlls the water feature of the spa. The circulation pumps seems to be working fine. Do you think that the heater was defective from the factory or does the circulation pump had a part in the failure of the heater?

Older leisure bay tub. only a few buttons on topside panel work as they should. temp control buttons switch from economy to standard, cant raise or lower temp. Topside panel or control board?

Top side control. 90% sure by your description of problem. Buy the topside, plug it in and try it before you do full install. If it doesn't work you can return it. Most places won't take back a PC Board.

Leisure Bay spa will not heat past 86 degrees. Element and sensors are new. Spa has excellent flow and correct voltage at terminals.

if the spa does not heat up to 104 degrees then the temp sensor is what you are going to need.
Are there error codes showing on the screen of the topside?
You will need to know the model number of the control box or the model number of the heater tube in order to get the proper sensor.

When my spa is on heat mode pump on Low Speed it will not heat up. It says FLO and flashes do I have an air lock ??? Just changed pump a month ago.

FLO is a common signal for insufficient water flow through the heater tube. Do you see the low speed pump working? If you do, then try removing your filters, if FLO goes away then replace your filters with new ones. If not, your flow switch may not be working. You could have a legitimate flow issue caused from a clog or air-lock though.
