Hmmm..that's a bit different print servers usually only handle the print driver..check with your router folks to see if that's not the case. HP only sends what is available. The router is in charge of what gets through.

Connecting Hp wireless printer to my Acer 210 tablet

A wireless printer must connect to the wireless router so you must know the SSID & password of your wireless router.

Initial setup must be done fist by connecting and loading the drivers to the PC. Once done you can print wirelessly because you are printing to a networked TCPIP port.

How to connect the printer wireless

I don't think the HP 3055 has built in wireless capabilities. It does however have a built in 10/100 Base-T TCP/IP networking with 1 RJ-45 port, Hi-Speed USB 2.0 port, RJ-11 fax port, RJ-11 line-out telephone port. You should be able to connect directly into your hub or router and access the printer through a wireless router. You can get more information on set up at the link below.

Can I print via my wireless network with HP OfficeJet 6310xi?

Nothing helps. Print servers are capable of connecting a multifunction printer for printing capabilities only. For scanning, you have to connect directly to the Computer or by a Multifunction printer with wireless capabilities.

Does HP LJ 3055 printer scan over the wireless network?

Scan over wireless network is not supported with this printer. You can try set it up and get scanner to work with usb and then change port from usb to HP standard TCP/IP for the device, but I don't think it will work.

HP laserJet 3055 network connection

HOW TO CONNECT HP 3055 TO ROUTER/WIRELESS NETWORK. WINDOWS XP/WINDOWS VISTA.

I have just finished successfully connecting my HP 3055 to my router and using it over wireless on 2 computers, one with windows XP SP2 and one with VISTA.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR CONNECTING HP 3055 ON XP:

FIRST CONNECT THE PRINTER TO THE ROUTER WITH A ETHERNET CABLE. FIND OUT THE IP ADDRESS OF YOUR PRINTER. By me it was 192.168.0.66

Go to CONTROL PANEL and open "PRINTERS AND FAXES". on the top left choose "ADD A PRINTER" click "NEXT".

In the "LOCAL OR NETWORK PRINTER" window, choose "LOCAL PRINTER ATTACHED TO THIS COMPUTER" and uncheck "AUTOMATICALLY DETECT"... click "NEXT".

In the "SELECT A PRINTER PORT" window click the radio button "CREATE A NEW PORT", click the down arrow and choose "STANDARD TCP/IP PORT".

In the window that pops up click "NEXT"

In the ADD PORT window, where it says "PRINTER NAME OR IP ADDRESS, type in your printers IP address, by me it was 192.168.0.66. The bottom line will fill in automatically. Click "NEXT".

In the "INSTALL PRINTER SOFTWARE" window, if you have the disk just choose "HAVE DISK" and install from there. If not, in the left column choose "HP" and in the right column choose "HP LASERJET 3050" (by me it showed up in the list, you can download the driver from here http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareIndex.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodNameId=1140780&prodTypeId=18972&prodSeriesId=1161389&swLang=8&taskId=135&swEnvOID=228

click "NEXT"

In the "NAME YOUR PRINTER" window, choose a name and also choose if you want to set it as the default printer (recommended) Click "NEXT"

In the next window choose whether or not you want to share the printer, and if you do assign a printer name. Click NEXT. The next window is optional if you want to make a name, you can just click NEXT and your done! Print a test page to make sure that all is fine.
