It could be from a load that is not balanced.Or the drain filer might be clogged and full of debris and needs to be cleaned out. Also the drain hose maybe be kinked or twisted too.

Sure sounds like the power supply board received an insult that allowed a different voltage to work for a while . UPS will regulate top 120 volt whereas mains may be higher or lower . You may be able to change bad capacitors or just buy the power board between 80 to 200 dollars .
If it was connected to UPS during surge it should have been protected...make sure you are connected to 'battery' side as a lot of UPS have a 'surge only' side that will not stop a rapid on/off power insult .

Display won't turn on? You mean the screen is blank? If so it can be that the lcd screen is bad, the lcd inverter is bad or the vga video card is bad. You can narrow down the problem by plugging in an external monitor into the laptop then press FN+F8 keys to get the display on the external monitor. If it shows on the external that means the video card is ok. If the video is ok remove the external monitor and reboot again. Use a flashlight and shine it on the display if you can bearly see the icons in the background, that means the lcd inverter is bad and needs to be replaced. If you see nothing and the computer has booted up, the fans are running the lights on the right under the lcd shows the disk blinking and the powerlight is on, then you probably have a motherboard issue. hi if you have at least a basic knowledge in repairing in any electronics as my recommendations, since the problem is won't power on.first you need to open the back cover with the use of philip screw driver then start to check the power supply look for the blown fuse replaced with the same amper rated at the part. then check for any burnt or bulged capacitors. also considered the inverter ballast board if their is no burnt connectors or parts. good luck hope it will help you.

The situation that you describe does sound like a rake based issue. Low tire pressure makes it much worse. Aside from lower speed annoyances, this design will be much more stable on the road, as speeds increase. Unlikely that something is wrong, or you would have lots more issues.

I just experienced the same problem after owning the TV for 15 months. Called tech support and they seem to think that it's either a bad inverter or the whole board is bad. I was quoted $100 labor, $600 for a new board, and I would have to cover the shipping cost. Considering that I payed a total of $700 for the unit, that option didn't make much sense to me. I'm going to get a quote from local repair shops and cross my fingers in hopes of the inverter being the problem (tech support informed me that the cost of replacing the inverter alone is much less, but couldn't come up with an exact quote).
