Easiest to replace would be the factory Delco AM/FM CD...plug in to existing terminals. If wires cut, you should include the plug in terminals with the replacement radio...Local Pic-A-Part is my go to salvage yard radio $25-$75...Walmart also sells radio wire install kits...$14.95? I would get an stereo installation kit from Auto Zone or a local automotive audio store. It will come with the surround for the new stereo to fit where the old stereo went, and a wiring harness to hook the new stereo up to and plug into the existing car wiring.

This picture should cover just about everything. If the picture has a wire that your stereo doesn't, just ignore it. Not all stereos have all color wires, and some stereos have colors or RCA jacks or plugs that aren't in the diagram. Those are usually connectors for amplifiers, CD changers, satellite radio, or something like that. The basics should all be included in this diagram though. Good luck!

If you do not want to cut or tap into the vehicle wiring, you should buy an aftermarket adapter harness and splice the wires from it and from your Panasonic CQ-C1100U together.

You may have one of this two problems:
One of the speaker wires is grounded to the chassis.
Or your car may have a factory amplifier between the radio and the speakers.
My suggestion is to rewire the speakers lines

There is for sure a hook up problem my friend. There should be a memory wire that always has power to it even when the car or the ignition is off. Then there is a switched type wire that only comes on when the cars ignition is on. Check both of these wires in the car. Check the car wiring diagram to confirm this.
