Question about NEC Dterm DTP 16D-1 Corded Phone
I am having the same problem trying to program speed dial button on a series E Dterm. the instructions say to press feature, selet the speed dial button to program, then dial the number and press feature again to save the programming. So, I press feature, select the speed dial button, but when i start to press the number, the feature key light goes off and no programming is saved.

Why are you pressing the feature button?
Press feature then answer. You envoked ringing line pick up.
Press feature then speed dial button, dial a number like your dialing out, then feature again. You've just set a speed dial button.
Press feature, then 3 and you've changed your ringtone on a series i phone.
