Did you try the "Device Discoverable in ___ secs?".In settings, Make device discoverable first then set the length of time. Android phone have this limited BT capability i think.
I see that you need assistance in getting your BT heatset to your LG phone.
make sure that the BT headset is set to discoverable mode, I believe there is a connect button on the headset that you can press and hold down for a couple of seconds this should lit up a light meaning that the BT headset is ready to be discovered by a device.
Once the Headset is set to be discoverable you can try and get you LG phone to detect the headset, Once detected the pairing code should be standard try 0000 this should get the BT headset connected to you LG phone.
On
your phone, make sure bluetooth is turned on (settings, general).
While
your phone is in discovery mode, turn your bluetooth device on and put
it in discovery mode (usually you have to hold the power button for 7-10
seconds).
Your phone will find the device, and you will be
prompted to enter the devises PIN number (often 0-0-0-0). Your phone
should pair with the device then.
In the Bluetooth settings you will find Discoverable as one of the options. Select it and your other devices that have BT will discover it immediately.
Make sure that bluetooth is turned on on your phone and that it is discoverable. Put the bluetooth in pairing mode (usually by holding down the power button for a few seconds), and then tell the phone to "search for new devices". The phone will ask you for a password- it's usually 1234 or 0000, but go by what your bluetooth manual says. That should do it.
