I was watching tv and out of nowhere the tv turned off and now will not turn back on for more than a couple seconds. When it does turn on it makes a click noise then turns off,
there are no problem with the fuse if the pwer turns on then off ,,you should get some one to look at it ..unless you have electronic experience....hope this helps ..
hello sbarrry2 it sound like the motor that is running continously is the condenseer fan and the buzzing and then the click would be the compressor trying to start up and going off on overlaod. shut the unit off at the swiutch, let it cool down (3) hours possibly and then try to turn it back on. this should work. Thanks for using FixYA

HELLO. IT SOUND LIKE YOU HAVE NO HIGH VOLTAGE.!! COULD BE THAT YOUR HORZANL TRANZOR IS BAD & MAY BE YOUR FLY TRANSFORMER ALSO. !!! THEY WELL NEED TO BE REPLACED.!!! "GOOD LUCK" HOPE THIS HELP'S YOU!
Take off back cover. The problem power board is to the right of the
board where the power plug feeds into the TV. There is a large white
fuse right bend the power plug. With a meter it read ok; about 8 inches
deeper into the TV on that board was the resister next to two fuses. My
4 amp 125 volt fuse did not read on my meter. After replacing, it
worked fine.
