I add water but it won't pump the water

Check the elements. Unit heats water and forces that heated water out.

initially try to descale your unit if the problem persist you have to check the pump.

If you gind too fine, it will overload the pump and result in the "open tap" a few seconds into brew. Rinse and gind coarser to clear out malfunction.
