I have one that does the exact same thing. I tested the power board and there's no voltage coming out of the 12V pins. Defective power board for sure, but good luck finding a replacement, and if so, pray it doesnt happen to that one, as it seems to be a common issue with this model. I'm doing more research as to what is failing on the board so i might perform the repair myself.
Mine was doing this too but then it stopped for about two hours and then back wth was that about?
Turn the brightness all the way down and it will work. Something is overdriving the 12v causing the voltage regulator to shut off. Probably the inverters that drive the back light. I'm looking for the pcb online. I replaced the 12v driver and it was better for about 2 minutes then back to 2 seconds.
