Has the model a timer device on it that is set to send it to "sleep" mode?
You can check by switching the Radio on and timing how long it stays on. Then repeat the action. If it turns off on the second time at the same length of time, it has a timer on it.

I own a Digitech DC1065 HH CB radio and no issues so far.

If so with no luck, may I suggest you join yahoo group specific to your radio Make/Model, there are experts with great info, plus you can download manuals, diagrams and software, etc.,,

I hope this is of help to you. (Ibought my DC1065 on ebay, no manual, but found the unit easy to work out, but I've got a bit of knowledge with radio equipment).

digitech is a very hard company to get software from, as they don't have a website. I have a digitech usb tv tuner, and could never find the sofware disc for it or the driver. Luckily I found the disc and could use it. The small disc should be supported by your computer as it is supported by all modern computers. Try borrowing/buying an external disc drive and use that. If it doesn't work then, the disc would be dodgy or broken and get it replaced by the place you bought it at. Would that be Jaycar Electronics?
