any point, this test will exit without any display.

There is not a "diagnostic mode" for the neptune washer.
All tests and functionality are done at each setting using the timer (except the tach circuit)
What is the problem you are looking to diagnose??
Thanks!
Usually, the timer is replaced for this failure - however, yours is integrated on the main circuit board. and not seperately serviceable.
The Controller board must be replaced.
SEE A REPLACEMENT HERE
Thanks!

Lr stands for motor not running properly. Solution says to call for service.

Code OP means lid is open. If it really isn't, then the problem is with the switch that sense whether the lid is shut or not. Could be bad switch or bad connection.

Hello rockhead255 ,
I'm an owner like you and will try to help.
Error code 10 states Unbalance or cabinet hit detected during final spin, which prevented the spinner from exceeding 500 rpm
Did you notice if you took some large tub swings as the washer tried to spin up?
I suspect a Clutch malfunction. Pump the water out of the tub with the Board Output Test with the drain pump in service mode. With the wash tub empty open the lid and see if you can rotate the wash basket CCW with one finger. You mentioned “”Tub does not turn by hand””. Is that in the CCW direction?
You should be able to rotate the wash basket with your pinky finger with very little force. The wash basket will not rotate CW. What amount of rotational resistance do you detect in the CCW direction? With the error 10 reported I would drop the clutch out of the machine per my step by step procedure at this post. Try the One-Way roller clutch bearing clean up and re-lube as I discuss in that post and see if you can restore the machine to normal Spin operation. Once you drop the clutch out of the machine we will have a better feel for the issue.
You can try the TDS check in the SM but I feel it is a Clutch issue at this point of troubleshooting. Good troubleshooting using the machines diag code listing.
Post back if you havd need additional questions or help.

Why does the service manual say there is?
the washer will start to wash then get hung up. It will continue to try and wash over and over the timer never goes down during this time.
I have a Neptune Maytag TL. When I start a wash the machine wants to hang up on the wash cycle. The timer will stop advancing and there is a 2 or 3 second tumble then it will stop. A minute later it will tumble of 2-3 seconds then stop.
I can not get my Maytag Neptune TL into service mode.
Is the ccu board the same as the control board?
I have a Maytag Neptune TL FAV6800AWW: The washer will load up with water, start to tumble then gets hung up tumbling for a few seconds then gets hung up on this process. It will tumble, then stop for 30 seconds then tumble for a few seconds then stop for 30, on and on. During this the timer never advances. I tried to put it in service mode it will not go into service mode. I was told earlier "I need to memory for the computer has corrupted itself and will need to be replaced the CCU board of the machine needs replacement." Is trhis the same as the control board?
