Hi. I have an Averatec D1002UHCE-1 All-In-One Intel Desktop PC. I think that the graphic card, nvidia GeForce 8400 GS, is wrong now. Do you know how I can get the graphic card of Averatec D1002UHCE-1? Or, if I can, I'd like to upgrade the card. Thanks.
Go to Nvidias website they detect what card you have and automatically update well you have to approve it
I have fixed four of these Averatec All in one PC . Take apart the back and silver case off. remove battery. Remove memory. Take out video card and make 4 pyramids out of tin foil for the video card to sit on. Place in oven on a cookie tray. Set to bake at 285 degree's for 25 min. Once cooled put video back making sure it is well seated and all fluff and dirt is removed around connector. Put back memory and battery. It will now work.

I refuse to loose my computer and I decided to fix it regardless. To me
it was an overheating problem, so removed all covers and dig in all the
way to remove the video card, then removed the heatsink from the card,
removed all the rubbers from there and used the cpu putty on the nvidia
processor.
Re assemble most of the parts except the chromed cover,
because it was preventing the heat dissipation from the video card and I

Thanks for your response. Recently, the graphics are not working correctly, the case A). I tried several solutions and reinstalled the driver also. Now I have the conclusion that the graphics card have some problems. The GPU, Nvidia GeForce 8400 GS, is on the separable graphic card. As you suggested, the graphic module is an OEM module. It doesn't have a HDMI or VGA connector. It only has a PCI (?) PCB connector. My warranty has ended already and a service center told me that they could not sell the graphic module separately. They asked me to send the PC unit, Averatec D1002UHCE-1 All-In-One Desktop PC. It's a very difficult, or impossible, option to me. I'm just wondering if there is any way I can buy a compatible graphic card. Thanks very much.
Since the Averatec All-In-One computers are new to me, I had to search the internet. Turns out TriGem makes them. An old company I'm familiar with, because they made motherboards for eMachines computers, at one point. I was clear about the first part of your problem, in that you stated, "I think that the graphics card, nvidia GeForce 8400 GS, is wrong now." This meant to me that either, A) The graphics are not working correctly, or B) The graphics are not good enough for a program you are trying to run. Examples would be a 3D program, or a game perhaps. For A) I went to look to see if Drivers were available. Turns out they are not. For B) I went to see what kind of graphics this computer uses. Would it be Integrated Graphics, (GPU is soldered directly to the motherboard. GPU stands for Graphics Processing Unit), or is it a GPU on a graphics card? Turns out it is a type of graphics module. The module uses Nvidia's MXM design technology.http://www.mxm-sig.org/ The module is removable, but I do not see any upgrades available. (The computer has to be disassembled in order to reach, and remove the graphics module. More of a job for a computer tech) I posted this in a Clarification because it is not a solution to your problem. Just information I wanted you to have.
