Yes... from the moment the lamp is put into service, it begins to deminish in brightness. You should order a replacement lamp to have on hand.

The Brightness of my tv is dimming can anyone enlighten me as to what mite be the issue, when I power it up the screen is black for a long time then when I finally get a picture it's very dark. I didn't...

If it is a tubed projector, it could be tired tubes. The EHT unit may be faulty. If it is a DLP or LCD then it could be a failing lamp. Job to tell with no information, sorry.

Tv color not bright enough and just replaced lamp

Clean the small mirror in front that projects the image onto the rear mirror. The Rear mirror always stays good but the front small mirror gets dusty and the colors and bright levels get affected and appear dim.

Best settings for moderate to low light viewing?

Using your remote, click the "video" button (mid area, Right hand side) and adjust the brightness, contrast, etc., to your liking. Only you know what you like. If your picture can be "plenty bright enough"...then just make the necessary adjusts to whatever looks best to you. If your picture is "very dim" no matter what the video settings are, you need a complete cleaning of all lens, mirrors, and screen...and possibly a new lamp.

Buzzing noise from Mitsubishi DLP WD-52327 after replacing bulb

Did your replace lamp come on the screen or did you lose picture? Just because the LED indicator suggest replace lamp it doesn't mean it needs it. If your pix was dull or loss of brightness then replace it, if not then just reset your lamp timer, check your owners manual for instructions.
