TV reads no signal on the HDMI inputs. It happened once, so I changed it to HDMI input #2 on the TV and that worked for the time being, now it constantly reads no signal. What can I do?

Troubleshooting Tips
1. If your HDTV or TV has multiple inputs, make sure you choose the right input your DVD player is connected to, such as Video, HDMI 1, HDMI 2, HDMI 3, Component, etc. Change the INPUT or source the HDTV is set to by pressing the INPUT button on the TV or its original remote. When you try different inputs, let the DVD player play a disc and output a constant signal.
2. If your TV has the correct INPUT or Source, unplug the cable and plug it back, or try another cable or port. Sometimes cable can short-out. Be sure they are connected securely.
3. Test if your DVD player works on other TVs. It could be your DVD player breakdown that leads to No Signal on your HDTV.
4. Try connecting your DVD player to another HDTV if your DVD player works correctly.
5. Check if your DVD player is compatible with your HDTV.
6. If the TV does nt work try to upgrade your DVD.
Cheap way to get around it is to get a converter that takes your HDMI signals and changes them to other format such as composite signals that may be accepted by your set. If your set has other types of video inputs you might want to check this out. Otherwise, a trip to repair shop is in order.
Connect a known working DVD player by using a new HDMI cable to HDMI INPUT 1 and check for signal. If you have a DISH or CABLE system box, connect that also with a new HDMI cable to HDMI input 2 or 3 and recheck for signal. Your T V remote will have an input selector to change between the different inputs on your T V.
It has to be on the right channel. If you are supposed to be on channel 3, 61, 73, 113 (ask the satellite company which one you should be on) then you'll have to change the channel. If you are not supposed to be on a channel you have to find out which input you're supposed to be on (video 1, video 2, video 3, av 1, av 2, av 3, hdmi 1, hdmi 2, input 1, input 2, input 3 for example).
One of the things an HDMI connection does is allow the TV and equipment to talk back and forth to each other. When you turn the TV off it ends this connection but when you turn it back on, it doesn't communicate correctly. The analog inputs don't do this that's why when you change inputs and go back to HDMI it works, because the TV reestablishes that connection. You didn't list the model of the TV but go to "http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/home.jsp" and click download. Enter the TV you have and click "GO". A list of downloads comes up and your TV may have a firmware update for it. There is instructions on how to do it. Even if this doesn't fix this problem, it is still good to do to avoid other problems. Another solution is to use component (Red/Blue/Green) cables. The highest resolution they support is 1080i, HDMI is 1080p. Depending on the model of your TV and what your watching though, you might not see a difference. TV2 will never have this problem because it is not connected through HDMI.
Tries to reset the tv Tuner board back to factory setting.By go into the tv menu.Go to PICTURE,go down to reset the Tuner board. All the HDMI ports should work now. Not,than the HDMI port 2 is shorted and dead, don't used the HDMI port 2.The tv should work fine,or tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish Tuner board for the replacement.
RCA Authorized service tech looked at it. He determined that the DM Module need to be replaced. The part alone costs $550 + labor. Since the HDMI and component video inputs seem to work, he suggested buying a VCR DVD combo with HDMI output which would be far less than repairing the tv itself. I'n researching the possibility of purchasing the part myself.
it sounds like there is a problem with either the output on the PS3 or the input on the circuit board of the TV. I would try a reset on the PS3 first. Also make sure that there are no other video or audio cords plugged into the PS3 because this will cause the PS3 not to send the signal via the HDMI.
