I want to copy my sim contacts on my apple i phone 3 g, but am unable to do so... i went to setting from their i imported the sim contacts but that is also not functioning.. it imports but in contacts...

Hi there,
This type of errors occur when you jailbreak your set, if you want to copy your contacts from the sim try with another Sim in your phone, if it gives error with all Sims, then you can copy your contacts in the Outlook and then synchronize your contacts with iPhone,
To copy your contacts to outlook, take any nokia phone capable of connecting with usb to computer and nokia pc suite, make your contacts syncronize with outlook firstly from nokia,
when you got your contacts in outlook , connect your iphone 3g with computer, and itunes will show you your set, then go to info and sync contacts with outlook, click on apply and then sync, all of your contacts will be sync and you will see the contacts in iphone,
If you require more assistance regarding this, feel free to reply to this post

Where can i get the pc suit of this cellphone??

It's a Windows Mobile 6 Standard phone, and, as such, it requires either ActiveSync (for Windows XP) or Windows Mobile Device Center (for Vista and 7) installed on your PC, in order to get synchronized. Go to this page and install the version which better suits your machine. They are connection management applications only. So, if you plan to sync PIM data, such as calendar, contacts, e-mail, you must have Outlook installed. If you want to sync media files, such as music, playlists, video, Windows Media Player should be on your PC too.
By the way, if your phone's user manual happens to be missing, feel free to download it from this location.
Please, let me know if I can help you any further.
Regards, Carlos

Contact transfer from gsm to cdma mobile phone

CDMA phones do not use SIM cards but depending on the phone, most of them will have bluetooth. If not, however, depending on the phone, you can try getting the PC Sync software for the device, and synchronize the contacts to the computer, usually to Microsoft Outlook.

Most CDMA carriers have applications you can download to the phone and computer that will actually let you sync the contacts from outlook to the phone wirelessly (VZW has Wireless Sync which is free www.wirelesssync.vzw.com), or you can try using the PC Sync software for that specific phone to sync back.. If its a Motorola phone, the software costs money (about $39) but other manufacturers provide it for free from their website.

The following links I know work for most GSM phones. Not sure about CDMA versions, but should.

Moving contacts from outlook to a mobile phone

1. Go to Outlook and save your 957 contacts in an outlook file. 2. Delete the 507 contacts you don't want to synchronize to your phone and save your outlook under a different file name (e.g. Addr450). 3. Connect the phone to the PC. 4. Open Nokia PC Sync. 5. In the Nokia PC Sync dialog, click Synchronise Now. The Create Settings wizard opens. 6. On the first page of the wizard, select the PIM application you want to synchronise the phone with from the drop-down list. You can choose Outlook Express, Outlook 2000, outlook 2002 or Outlook 2003 as your PIM. Follow the instructions on screen to finish the wizard process. HTH.
