Scanning 110 negatives

Is there a special adapter to do this? I tried using the one for 35 MM but it just did not work very well.

Some flat bed scanners with a lighr scource that shines through 35 mm slides and negatives can scan them.
You will be better off getting a dedicated 35 mm slide/negative scanner.

I would like to know whether there is some sort of attachment available to copy my photo slides and photo negatives to my PC?

There are several options but the most practical one is to get a scanner that scans transparencies. They are not cheap but are the most effective. Another option is to project the slides onto a special screen and then photograph them with a digital camera. This can be done with 35 mm negatives as well and then they can be turned into positives with software.

Will not recognize 5th image on negative strip because 4 and 5 overlap (slight double exposure). How do I scan 5th image?

I inserted my negative holder in backwards on my Nikon 5000 35 mm scanner. Then I could get the last (5th) slide scanned. But I can not get the scanner to work on my new IMac because of no working driver. Silver Fast has no drivers for the Nikon 5000

  • Click Settings > Scan Settings > Button Settings at the bottom of the left pane.

  • Click the Scan Picture Button tab. Under "Scan to" select the program you would like to edit the image with after the scan is finished.
  • Repeat step 2 for the Scan Button, the Scan Document Button and Scan Film Button. Select the program you would like to use to open each type of scan, or select "Save to File" and the desired file type.
