On the charger it will go red green red green forever and i halve to charge it a week to go ten minuits

First, tell what charger is it?

EXAMPL
1- RED shows charging and GREEN means complete charging.....on most vacuum cleaners.

2- Blinking RED or GREEN means charging while solid RED or GREEN means charging complete on thigs like standalone battery chargers, like screw/drill driver.

Try reseting it by holding down the power button (while unpluged,first) for 5-10 seconds. Then plug in charger.

All I can see is that your charger is flashing red. There wasn't any brand mentioned. Most battery chargers flash green when in charging mode, solid green when charging is complete and flashing red when there is an issue with the battery/batteries being charged. Rechargeable batteries don't last forever (usually 200-300 charges) and perhaps this is the case with yours. Also, if you are using imported batteries (China), that would be a major red flag!

Check the charger output to verify whether or not you have a bad charger using a voltmeter. These smaller batteries are notorious for having a short shelf life and poor quality control from the manufacturer. Load test the batteries after you verify you have a working charger that will bring the batteries up to the proper voltage first.

A blinking green light means the charger is charging the battery. A steady green light (same LED) means that charging is complete. If the light never stops blinking and we assume that your charger is working correctly, you may have a defective battery. Rechargeable batteries do not last forever. After a few years, there ability to take and hold a charge declines. It may be time to buy a new battery.

Does the BlackBerry show a charging symbol or is the LED flashing red or green?

I'am not an engineer that can do a forensic
examine on your dead battery. So i don't know

Not only do the batteries go bad, but the chargers as well. If you can, plug in the charger, don't connect the battery to it and test the voltage output with a volt/ohm meter. This should let you know if indeed, the charger is bad. Chargers get hot and don't last forever.

■ Charging LED 
Red LED is on = Being charged 
Red LED is blinking = Charging error 
Green LED is on = Carging is complete


● If the charge indicator blinks as red, it indicates a battery charging error.
- The battery is not properly inserted
- The terminals of battery are dirty or damaged
If the battery is inserted properly and the charge indicator continues to blink, contact the
nearest Samsung Camera Service Center.


Another charging error is when the batteries are so depleted, they won't charge up to 100% anymore = red light doesn't go out and remains on for too long, means get a new battery.

My battery works for weeks. It might be a problem with the camera. Could it be the contact points in the camera?
