R556 resistor needs replaces need to know where i can get this at cause no one in the area sales or knows about them cause where this amp is older and they have updated all the resistors, plus like to know where i can get the circuit board schematics also so i can get my uncle to repair it which is profession at this type of stuff, so i can get get back to the Awsome Pounding Actiong is this 5channel Amp with the the input!!!!!! Hello, resistors burnt out, why? If you replace the resistors will the new ones burn out? What you need is a diagram of the unit and you can get the resistance readings from that. But the question still remains, what caused the burn in the first place and have you repaired that?

This is a 2 channel stereo unit. Ebay shows @ a dozen of them for sale between $46- $90. In davenport Iowa, which isn't an expensive area, you can't touch a repair for that. Check your area Our estimate fee alone is $43

Hi! ok R64 is a 220 ω resistor & Q22 is a BD140 transistor, these 2 components are the final outputs for the -15V rail which feeds the pre-amp board. There are two scenarios here, firstly Q22 may have died of natural causes which has killed R64 or something has gone short on the pre-amp board which has taken both components out as a result. i would suggest replacing the two cooked components & if the amp then works ok it will be an easy repair, however if they go again then an investigation using an ohm meter will be needed on the pre-amp board to check for shorts on all any of the i.c's. let me know how you get on, if I can be of further assistance just ask!. If you are using the full 12+ volts of the bikes electrical system,NO you will destroy the led.
You will need to add a dropping resistor in series with the led so V does not exceed the Vmax of the led.You also don't want to exceed the max current of the led.Most run about 0.020 amps.
You may find leds for sale in the aftermarket auto industry with the resistor preinstalled.
If you don't find these leds let me know what leds you want to use and there specs and I can tell you what resistors you will need to install,led specs can vary from the color ,size and maker.

if r 11 is bad you should really check the bearing on the tub you will probably find it to be bad or going bad causing the moter to pull more amps causing r 11 to burn out.

You need the old transistor. Knowing it's brown is not enough; you need to know its resistance value. It sounds like the resistor you replaced with has too low a resistance value, causing the "cuts" in sound. Find the old resistor and then use this site to find out what you need:

Sounds like convergence and there is nothing to adjust. You'll probably need to replace the convergence amps and one or more of the 2.2 ohm resistors in the yoke return out in front of the amps. That unit requires two STK392-110 Sanyo amps, personally I'd buy them from ACME sales in Florida. Lots of fakes out there that could cause you problems. You could also order about 6 of the 2.2 ohm resistors and just replace all of them as well. That should repair the unit.
The amps are mounted to an aluminum heat sink, multi-pin and hard to miss... Just take extra precaution de-soldering and soldering the new amps in...
