If you have a crock insert that you can lift out from the metal outer shell, just put the crock insert into the metal outer shell and turn it on to your desired heat. The inner crock will warm up nicely. The food goes in the inner crock not the outer metal shell.

SOURCE: my son dropped the crockpot,

Howdy, I was unable to locate a suitable replacement crock for your cooker. I did, however encounter many, many complaints about this unit. I have included an average example that contains some contact info for the manufacturer:

Food for thought:)

Where can I get a replacement lid for my sce500 crock pot?

Hi Claire,

Crock Pots are the best!

What I would do is go on ebay and search for "oval crockpot cover or lid ".

I just looked and there are several very nice oval lids for about $14 plus shipping.

Make sure you measure your crockpot and check the dimensions of the lid because the oval ones were made in different sizes.

You have to search for general terms because not everyone remembers the model number of their crockpot.

Thanks!

Go to www.crockpot.com. This is the Rival Crockpot/slow cooker site. Scroll down and enter the model number in the appropriate space. The website will search, show you the crockpot, and give you the order number and price of replacement parts.
