My media player plays the music but unable hear it

check your wires that they arent to bend, they can break if they gets to bended, try with a different pair og earplugs, if that doesnt help the jack connecter is broken in the device

browse through the mp3 player setting very well and you will sure find an option to link the music on your SD card to your player.

Try holding down the play button until you hear 2 separate tones while it is connected to your computer. This should change the players mode from "media player" to "removable disk". The folders will look different from one mode to the other. Then try to drag your songs (mp3 only) to the music folder. I had the same problem and this worked with me.

Thier nothing u can do at this point, either get a new mp3 player or somehow manage with the one u have now.

Check to make sure the songs were not liscened because if it was, it will not let you play them.

Re-Rip them, but change the Rip format to Mp3 in Windows Media Player - you will not have any licensing issues with mp3 format

maybe the music you are trying to play is protected as many music you buy over the internet is. try loading your player with music you ripped from a cd or make sure the protected music is transfered directly to your player with the program you bought the music with.
