No this model comes with a UHF tuner so it won't tune VLF or VHF.

You can buy an HDMI to DVI adapter (around 20$) to connect your HDMI computer cable to your TV. You will need separates audios cables, right and left, to bring the sound to the TV.

If there more than one tvs have the same problems it not the tv.It the broscast incomming signal.
