Played FF13 last night, brought ps3 home, no bumps, no rough rides, it powers up, I can't hear the fan running, no display or audio. Was working fine, I don't understand why it quit?

well, last night i bought FF13 and about halfway through the game i saved and then the game froze. after that it wouldnt read anything, even regular dvds. We called Sony twice and they only said to pay $150 to fix the problem, they gave us no other advice. we have tried everything you can possibly think of, re-formatting the hard drive to scanning for corrupted files, nothing works. we decided to try one more time this morning after leaving the ps3 off all night, we put LBP in and an eror code popped up on the screen "80010516" is there anyway to repair this so i dont have to pay $150-399 for a new ps3??
is ps3 set to hdmi or scart?..is possible due to electrical outage, your display settings were reset..hold down the power button until you hear three beeps
when u connect ps3 to your tv turn on main switch now red led will come on press and hold touch button ps3 will come on keep your finger on the button and ps3 will turn off again factory settings are now reloaded this will work because i often change from standard v to hd tv
FIRST thing to check is spark plug ,make sure it is sparking ,if it is and is wet change the plug .If plug is dry it could be the carb needs cleaning out if it has beesn stood for a while
The Problem might be that on the Back of the Ps3 the Red yellow and white plug is loose i have this problem but you have to adjust it once in awhile and try to plug it in the back of the TV or the front depends really.
