A reed switch or in some cases a speed sensor is locate by the front roller/pulley it could cylindrical or square looking.First you need to unplug the unit, then remove motor shroud inspect the reed switch to pulley distance ( no more than 3 credit card thickness) also inspect the pulley to see if the magnet is still attached to it. make the necessary adjustment. plug in the unit start it up. If it give you the same code then replace reed switch!

Precor Error LS, Speed Sensor Signal Missing Probable Cause 1. Intermittent or open connection of the speed sensor (reed switch) wiring.
2. Reed switch is defective or has intermittent connection.
3. Drive motor brushes are bad.
4. Lower PCA is bad.
Corrective Action
  1. Inspect the speed sensor (reed switch) wiring for damage or poor connection to the lower PCA. Replace damaged wiring or reset connection as necessary.
  2. Using an ohm meter, test the reed switch while rotating the drive pulley. The reed switch will close when the magnet passes in front of it.
  3. Inspect the drive motor brushes and replace if necessary.
  4. Test unit with a known good lower PCA. Replace lower PCA if necessary.

you must reset the error. Try to adjust the REED SWITCH, clean it, test for open or faulty, and tight the cables very well.see the diagram attached. Adjust to the speed sensor, do the same like reed switch, see the diagram attached,

How to resest master light switch indicator light on 2002 lincoln ls

Try swapping HID Relay if there is another the same

I have a 2004 LS & all the diagnostic manuals but purposely
did not order HID

I don't know how you created that situation

I read alot here in the manuals for you

You may have had issues other than what you
thought was to be replaced

You need the manuals & trouble charts I have to solve
& maybe the pro software to check for enhanced body
codes

I tried for you

No one else will ever come here about an LS trust me

Proform Crosswalk display will not work. Belt and incline work fine. Have changed batteries, adjusted reed switch to within 1/8

adjust the REED switch, see the diagram for to do it. clean, and tight the connector very well.

Error code E7

Dear Sir:

This error is normally associated with1) Elevation Motor problem.2) Display doesnot light up

1)tigh the connector from elevation motor and clean 2) Adjust the Potentiometer 3) Lubricate the gear 4) Test it.

2) Adjust the Reed switch see the diagram attached 3) tigh the connector very weel and clean the reed s.and reset.
