Still questions..no answers. The freezing seems to have gone away. I am still lookint for the remote codes.

I have the same problems w/ my mintek 37 inch lcd and I have cut it off for days hoping that this will jumpstart it back to the tv mode so that we can at least get the enjoyment of watching it. The only thing it does is cut off/on the power. No other buttons work. I have called Mintek in CA and they offered no solutions except to mail the tv back.

This unit has had a component failure on the main board.You can find parts for this model on e-bay. Have someone check the television for you and see if the failure is caused by minor failures. This could be from cold solder joints to bad capacitors.
