Program Radio Shack 15 2142 remote for converter box

Your remote is only able to control TVs and DVD players. It will not control your DTV Converter Box.

if you still have your remotes you can program the buttons for each funtion.
1. Hold down P until the red light blinks
twice.
2. Press 9 7 5. The red light blinks twice.
3. Press the device key that corresponds with
the desired device's remote (TV, CBL/SAT,
DVD, VCR or AUD).
4. Press the desired learning key. The red light blinks rapidly.
5. Place the device's remote control head-to-head
(about 2 inches apart) with the

Gamer Remote.
6. On the device's remote control, hold down the key to be learned until the red light on the Gamer Remote blinks twice. If the red light does not blink twice, repeat Steps 1- 5.
7. To lock in learned functions on the Gamer Remote, hold down P until the red light blinks twice.
8. To test a learned function, press the learned key on the Gamer Remote and use the function as usual.

I recently bought a used LCT2060 that had no remote. I figured my comcast cable remote would work without a problem but it didn't. So 3 universal remotes later I found my solution...a radio shack universal gamer remote. It controls up to 5 components plus your xbox360, playstation and pc. The price on sale was a mere 12.97, not bad if you ask me. Hope this helped. The code that worked for the Akai was 11676. Take care...

You must have a converter box for the tv and for the vcr. Set the vcr to receive chanel 3 and set the converter box to the digital chanel you want to record. Put a splitter on the antenae out and route one to the tv converter box and one to the vcr converter box. GOOD TO GO.

follow the instructions for "Searching For your Code " This worked for my White-Westinghouse (though it takes about 20 repetitions to hit the code!)

Posting regarding the NHENS converter in January 2009. Bought it at Radio Shaft and it works -- feeding an old Panasonic b/w TV on channel 3. Live within 25 miles of the Empire State Building and the converter has managed to pick up and lock up on all NYC signals but channel 13. Also brings in channel 41 (licenced to NJ) and its subchannels plus the nearby channel 58 and its NJN-2 subchannel. Antenna is an amplified indoor rabbit ears with a loop also from Radio Shaft perched atop a kitchen cupboard on the 2nd floor of our house. Apparently, NHENS managed to correct the above referenced problems.

i can not get my tv to pick up a signal.I know my antena works i have tried it on other tvs.Has anyone else had this problem or know how to fix it?
