Check your local restaurant supply store. You may want to go to google to see where the best place is, if you live along the rocky mountain region here is a great place that should have it http://www.standardrestaurant.com.
If that doesn't help then whoever sold you the blender may have more answers.

I have Breville bbl300. I do not have jug. Tried to turn it on to see if it worked without jug. Nothing it didn't do anything. I am hoping it is not broker from Removalist when I moved House

Most blender / mixers have one safety switch per jug.
If your BBL300 has one jug then it should have one small switch where the jug's locking tabs will lock the jug into position.
This is usually visible as a small plastic piece (may be black in color) just under an L-shaped groove on the base.
This is a "Normally-Open" switch, so that only something pressing the switch lever will switch it on.
No jug no work. You need jug.
You can test the spindle & motor by switching on (low speed) then use a flat plastic tool (eg a plastic spoon handle) to press this switch tab in.
If it starts, motor is good, then you can buy a jug to fit.

I bought a new interlocking collar for my Kitchenaid blender, and now it doesn't seem to be fitting on the base properly. It's resting on the base rather than going all the way down, if that makes sense....

Remove the collar from the jug and have a good look inside, there is a circular ring inside the collar that needs to engage correctly with a glass finger on the jug. The glass finger goes between 2 plastic fingers. I think there are two of them. It was a silly idea that's been given the flick on later models.

Gold powder or particles on base

It's probably brass, run it a few time and clean it, if it continue, their a good chance that your bearing is dying (grinding it self),check if you can replace that section.

Broken glass jug on kitchenaid blender model 5ksb2aer4

Look at the underside of the blade shaft. The metal wing nut on the end of the shaft secures the blade assembly to cream coloured plastic blade base. The wing nut also transmits the drive from the rubber coupling on your blender to the blade shaft. The wing nut has a LEFT HAND thread.
The left hand thread ensures the blade assembly does not unscrew during normal blender use.

Firstly disassemble the blender blade assembly. Place a folded tea towel over the blades and hold the blades firmly. If you do not use a tea towel you may cut yourself.

Grip the wing nut with your other hand and unscrew it CLOCKWISE.
Remove the wing nut. You can now remove the blade from the plastic base.

Put the blade assembly in the new jug and offer up the plastic base from under the jug so that the blade shaft protudes enough for you to install the wing nut.

Screw the wing nut ANTI-CLOCKWISE to secure the blades to the plastic base.

Do not over tighten the wing nut; you may have to replace your jug again at some point.

My blender's jar is broken, i want a new one

You might need to order one from the UK and pay delivery charges? I am based in the UK and it is tricky finding this part, but I think possible. I smashed my blender measuring jug this morning and I hope I can get a new one at [email protected] - just placed an order. You don't mention a model of yours but the one I found is compatible with several makes - check out this link http://www.viewpointdirect.co.uk/philips-measuring-jug---for-use-with-hand-blenders-573-p.asp. They deliver worldwide for a reasonably high charge. Else there are some other jugs you can find, without pictures though, which might be compatible with your make, at http://www.buyspares.co.uk. Good luck!
