You need to send in the computer to Lenovo depot repair and have the board re-flashed. This is the procedure mandated by Lenovo for this kind of issue. Fo inquiries, you may call Lenovo at 18774536686.
To reset the BIOS read the information from this link.
In case of your Lenovo laptop the easiest method would be using software from Hiren's Boot CD as it's pretty hard to open it up and reach for the CMOS battery or the jumper.
Et tu Brutus.
This is what Caesar said when he was stabbed by Brutus as Brutus was a good friend of Caesar. And I am saying this to you because I just answered someone who too had forgotten the password.
The answer to your forgetting is to open the covers from the bottom and locate a battery (a button cell), remove it for a few minutes and your password will be disabled. Insert it. Close the cover and reboot. And dont make it a habit please.
Try to press F8 in begining after BIOS start and start your windows in safe mode. then look if you got an extra administrator account without password to login. If you dont have it you need a program to remove your password. get back to me if the first option doesent help. also little more information should be helpfull. what OS does you use? xp or vista `?
IF you can get to the motherboard, there should be a set of jumpers related to the bios. You should be able to pull the Jumper off it's pins, wait a min or two, and then put it back on and that should have reset the bios back to not having a password. That also will reset the bios if you've made any changes in there. You'll need either a schematic of the motherboard (which I'm sure will be VERY hard to find, or you'll need to look the board over at the small printing until you find the set of posts with a jumper on them that's labeled bios.
