I ran the diagnostics at boot up on my dell inspiron 1318 laptop and I got the error code 0146 & msg error code 2000-0146. Does anyone know what this code means?
This error code is related with the hard drive problem. There is a possibility of hard drive failure.

You can connect the same hard drive to a different computer Via a Sata Casing and see if the hard drive is getting detected or not, in most of the cases the hard drive will get detected and you will be able to access your data, If not then you can use a recovery software.
