My reciever is blinkning 'protect' after being turned on. It starts up as normal but after the initial start it starts flashing 'protect' and after it starts flashing I can not do anything but turn it off. I can not change the source, the base boast or even the mode.

It shows protect when it senses a problem with the output wires shorted or some internal fault. Try disconnecting all the speaker wires and power up again. If it still shows protect, then the fault is internal.

When on d AC that clean filter option will gt on and it starts blinkng ...even after the AC ht on This clean filter light will be blinkning...how to off that or how to stop that blinking light?!

Make of t-stat? Normally you can hold down the "clean air filter" button or hold down 2 buttons for 3 seconds to reset the air filter reminder. There should also be a setting in the configuration mode to remove filter reminder. But you would need the installation manual.

My denon avr1200 receiver once it is turned on goes into Protection mode. How do you reset or make work?

The reciever will go into protection mode when there is a short in the speaker wires or the amplifier was overloaded. What I would do first is verify that none of the speaker wire connections are loose at the back of the reciever or at each speaker. And verify that none of the wires are making contact with each other. Then label each speaker wire as you remove them from the reciever so you can re-install them correctly. After you have disconnected the speaker wires try unplugging the reciever for 10 to 15 minutes. Most recievers have a self-resetting overload protection switch and this should reset it back to normal. Now try plugging the reciever back in and turn it on without the speaker wires connected. It should be out of protection mode now. If it is still in protection mode verify that there is not a reset switch somewhere on the back of the reciever. If it is not in protection mode now then proceed to connect one speaker set at a time and turn on the reciever to see if it goes into protection mode. If it goes into that mode after connecting a speaker then that speaker is the cause of the problem. If it does not go into the mode after all speakers are connected then try turning the volume up. If it goes into protection mode then there could be an internal short on the amplifier or a incorrect OHM rated speakers connected to reciever. Verify that the speakers are rated the correct OHMS.

Sony STR K840P, protect mode is flashing,no sound, nothing come out. When starting every thing is fine for 20 or 30 seconds and the "protect"start to flash and nothing geht anymore, everything is blocked

This is a classic problem. One of your speakers is miss wired and or your speaker wires positive and negitive leads are touching. Check all connections from the back of the reciever to the back of the speakers to make sure your positive and negatives are correct and that none of the wiring is crossed or touching one another.

Sony DE-445 reciever flashes PROTECT

Sounds like a grounding problem. If the ground plug isn't missing or loose try plugging it into a different outlet.

Problem with the receiver on my wireless keyboard & mouse KB985W

If you still have the software that came with your keyboard and mouse then i suggest you reload it, it appears that some of your keys have functions to them and they are misbehaving.

If you do not have the software then remove the reciever from the computer and then replace it again. press the connect button on the reciever then the connect button on the keyboard, wait for it to register the keyboard then press the connect button on the reciever then the connect button on the mouse and wait for it to register.

Hopefully this will help.

Protector flashing

Protet mode is a special diagnostic mode that starts when a fault is detected.

When in protection mode the unit is prevented from starting by protection circuit, so to prevent further damage.

Check the speakers and speakers wiring, a contact in speaker wires, or faulty speakers can send the unit in protection.

Try unplugging power cable for one hour or so. then connect cable back and see if you get rid of protect state. Sometimes accumulation of electrostatic charges inside circuit capacitors can kick in protect mode. In that case unplugging the unit from main for some times can get rid of electrostatic charges, and reset circuits by draining power completely.
If that was the problem, you will not get Protect when plugging back power cable.

If you do all the above and still get Protect, then there is a real fault.

In that case the unit may be disassembled and tested to find the fault.

If that is the case I suggest contacting the manufacturer at the number listed on the owners manual, or asking a quote on repair to a local technician.

"Protect" feature increasingly activated.

You may have an output transistor gone bad and it is trying to run on one good transistor since they commonly are used in pairs (one positive and one negative). Time for a trip to the shop. Good luck.
