Cannot seem to turn my camcorder off----was doing fine but changed my battery to a duracell---recommended to replace my samsung battery and now I cannot seem to get the camcorder to turn off. help!!!!!!!!! you can turn my camcorder on but not off so batteries cannot be charged on it or anything!!!!!!

The batteries must be installed before using your safe. The battery compartment is located inside the safe on the lock cover panel.
Note: If both green and red LED's are on, it is an indicator that the batteries are weak and must be changed immediately. The User Code will not be erased if power is restored by replacing the
batteries within 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, the User Code will be erased and will need to be reprogrammed. Weak or dead batteries should be replaced immediately and all 4 batteries should be changed. To replace the batteries please follow STEPS 1 - 3. Remember to always remove batteries from safe if not using for an extended period of time. If your batteries are completely dead and you cannot o pen the safe by using the digital keypad, use the override access key to open safe
and access the battery compartment. The use of Non-alkaline or rechargeable batteries is NOT
RECOMMENDED.

But No, LR44 is the same as 76a. Did you change both?? You said 'I replaced THE battery', there is clearly two batteries.

Check the polarity and mwatt hr of the battery because it sounds like that is where the problem is.

some times any problem with the chi pset in it.so go to a near by servicing center

This usually happens when the batteries are nearly dead or not good enough, i recommend Duracell alkaline batteries as they seem to last longer, also try not to use the flash when it's not needed as this will conserve battery power.

My camera did the sae thing until I got duracell recharables. IT WORKS PERFECT NOW,,, as far as the camera staying on. TRY I..they're gREAT

Dont use alkal bats. use rechargeable.

This symbol means that the backup battery needs to be replaced. The backup battery is located under a panel on the left side of the camcorder, and the main battery pack has to be removed to see this panel. The battery is a CR2025 (Duracell DL2025).
