Hi my lenovo s10 screen broken i want it to replace

For this kind of issue, please follow up the following steps to check:

1.confirm your Lenovo IdeaPad S10 ac adapter and battery connect the laptop normally.Maybe the bad connect lead to this problem. If there are no lights when you turn on laptop, one of possible reason is that your adapter is malfunction.

2.the second possible cause is laptop dc jack failure. If the dc jack is broken or loose, you are required to replace it or repair it.

It seems that your computer is not booting into windows properly at all.
You mentioned you see Lenovo and windows appear then the screen goes Blank afterwards, you can try to Boot directly into the Hard Drive manually just to get everything working or I mean Booting up again but this is a small shot from what you are experiencing but is also worth the try.
turn your S10 machine OFF then turn it back ON and keep on tapping f12 on the keyboard you should see Boot menu on the list Select HDD then press enter this should boot into the Hard Drive, if it does not then you may need to send the system back to Lenovo for a possible reinstallation of windows or on most time we also have the Hard Drive replaced in many cases.

Getting different colors with vertical strips are common effects of broken LCD/screen. Broken LCDs needed to be replaced. With this one, the best thing that I can recommend you is to contact Lenovo specially if your machine is still under warranty. They offer free repair and parts replacement depending on your warranty coverage.

Hi. Maker sure upon ordering the computer at lenovo you requested for a 3G capability. The slot might be there but it is actually disabled. Enabling the 3G slot will need your laptop to be sent out at our repair department. If the 3G slot is enabled, all settings should come from you Insternet service provider.

Just bought Lenovo S10 and so unlucky that window crashed. So have to restore my Lenovo S10 to factory settings. Can’t really find how ot restore to factory settings in Lenovo S10 from the User Manual. So check from google, after many many search, finally found the solution.
For Lenovo S10 to restore to factory settings follow the steps below:-

• Turn off your Lenovo. (i mean shut down and make sure it’s power off)
• Now press on the “One Key Recovery” key at the top of your Keyboard, your Lenovo S10 should boot up. Else hold down the “One Key Recovery” key until it boot up.
  
• Now you may choose “Restore to factory settings” from the screen and proceed for the restoration.
  ** the restoration will first check if your windows files has been corrupted, if yes, then it will restore it to the original state and no restore is required. else it will continue with the restoration

there is a sim slot in my lenovo s10-3 ideapad but i can't figure out its use.how can i  use it?

Your Lenovo S10 will really not recognize the Samsung screen. Please use the OEM lcd so you won't experience compatibility issues. The S10 only takes OEM parts.

i have the same problem, but was able to solve it by taking out the battery and use the ac adapter only. i think s10-2 has some kind of sleep/wake up problem thats related to the battery.
