These are famous for bad hv transformers and horizontal circuit problems. Both these circuits are dependent upon each other. Have a shop check it for you as these are dangerous circuits to work with. Thanks for using fixya.

Truck start but nothing else work inside

What do you mean nothing else works ? interior lights , radio instrument cluster lights etc. The alarm light flashes while truck is running ? Let's be a little bit more specific if you can !

The accessory delay relay supplies power (B+) to the driver master window switch . This relay is located in the central junction box ,under dash panel right side . An this powers the windows , the instrument cluster energizes the relay .
Interior Illumination is controlled by same relay .

My one touch up/down feature for my driver window no longer works on my 08 ford Taurus x limited vehicle, i tried some of the online solutions of rolling up and down the window and holding the button for...

This would indicate a bad relay under the hood. Usually all relays are in a black box under the hood. When you push the window up or down button it energizes a relay which starts the motor moving in the direction chosen. Inside the door there are little switches on top and bottom which tell the relay to shut off the window is closed. The relay box has a diagram inside (normally) which shows what relay energizes what. You should check the fuse for windows for it may be the relay itself is fused.

My dryer turns on, but when you take your finger off the button it shuts off. I've tested the switch which is good. I'm not sure about the relay though.

this tells me that the relay coil is open on the start switch(very common occurence) and can no longer be energized when you push the start button, just replace it

Lightning hit our house a month ago and the dryer was running. It stopped and now the start button won't stay engaged l We have to push the button to make it run and tape it in the run position,

your missing the voltage from the control panel timer to energize the relay to keep it energized after you push it to make it start, you need to trace this back to the control panel timer possibly thru a resistor that could have burned open due to power outage and probably replace

My dryer will not continue running after I release the Start button. Is there a latching relay inside? Does it have an electronic control instead? Could it be a bad moisture sensor? Sears Kenmore...

There is a relay in the control panel. It also has an electronic controller.

There would not be a latching relay, usually the start button energizes a relay, and they use a NO contact wired parallel to the start button.

There should be a schematic in the dryer some place. You'll have to use your voltmeter and test the unit to find out which component is failing.

When I push the start button the dryer starts but immediately shuts off when I release my finger from the start button

That's the start relay causing that. It is supposed to energize and stay pulled in to run.

Dryer starts when you press start button but stops as soon as you take finger of start button.Ive replaced switch but no different

The switch is not likely at fault.
the switch activates a relay that is supposed to latch in place until the door switch or timer de-energize it, to supply the very large currents to heater and motor.
The relay has failed, it looks something like this,1d9c9e9.jpg though may not be transperent, trace the wires from the start button, the relay will be the first 'thing' in the circuit. Generic relays will be available to fit, one fits many dryers, at the local parts store.

Dryer won't run unless we hold the button

The start button starts the motor heater and energizes a relay that latches closed to keep the motor and heater running untill the timer switch or door switch cut the power to the relay and the relay opens.
The latching relay has failed or disconnected
if all the cables are attached to the relay
replace relay
not an expensive item, good for another 10years
