have you set your voicemail box up yet? maybe thats your problem...if you cant get it to work call customer service from a different phone so a customer representative can help you with your problem.

You can take the phone to a mobile center and have it unlock or try online at unlockitnow.com or mobile2mobile.net, this process usually take about 12-24hrs to complete....just provide your IMEI #....

try to align your frex or replace it

I had a problem very similar to this with my Razr but my service was through Verizon. I took it into a Verizon store and they thought that a software upgrade would fix the problem. It didn't. Fortunately, the phone was still under warranty and they ended up replacing the phone.

Warranty on the Razr is one year.

If you are under warranty, get a replacement. In my experience, this problem will get worse. If you are out of warranty (older than 1 yr), you may be able to argue for a refurbished replacement at no cost - ATT/Cingular has been far more accommodating than Verizon. Or activate a different phone - I had my old LG and used it instead until I am eligible for a my new one, and it WON'T be a RAZR! Good luck.
