How to open Dell Studio One casing?

I love dell studio one. Now I like to upgrade its sata hard disk to 750gb. How to I open its casing?

an external hard disk is a better option for your computer.
benifit is that u can carry it with you and collect data with from another computer easily.
so go for external hard disk

Bios cannot detect hard drive suddenly. I was running the PC well. Trying to start the PC again, cannot go into windows. Check on the bios, no hard drive detect.


Follow the steps given below.

1) First, check your hard disk cable, I recommend you to replace the Hard Disk Cable.
2) If the BIOS doesn't detect your Hard Disk after replacing Hard Disk cable try upgrading your BIOS from the Dell website.

DELL STUDIO 1535 WILL NOT BOOT UP ERROR CODE 0146


That is a bad hard drive or sector in hard drive code. Try and run an FDISK on the drive or reformat the drive with your factory restore disk. If you are unable to format the hard drive replace it with a new one. That takes a SATA "serial ATA" hard drive. They are universal so any manufacture name replacement will work.

Why do you need to duel boot???
It is impossable for Windows XP to be Duel Booted to Windows 7.
There IS a way, but it would be to hard

Can i upgrade my Dell studio 1537 laptop's video graphics card to higher configuration like 1 GB memory graphics card.If so what is the maximum size od card i can upgrade in this dell studio 1537 laptop


The Dell Studio 1537 has 2 video options, UMA Intel and ATI HD3600. Both solutions are built into the motherboard and essentially not upgradeable

I have dell sudio 1537. Cant install windows 2003.


actually ur machine comes with SATA hard drive and i think that sata drive is not detected in win XP bcoz th einstallation disk is old and does not contain the sata drivers in it u can follow th einstructions on this link to slip stream sata raid drivers on the windows inst disk and then start to install
