Sir, try reinstalling your phone. This will make the phone to be back to its original settings and maybe can bring the phone's touch screen capability back.
Contact your network for a warranty repair on the handset every mobile phone purchased has a warranty period of at least 1 year and this covers only manufacturing faults . when you contact your network you will be required to go through some checks just to make sure that it is faulty and that it was a manufacturers fault .
But before calling your network leave the phone swithced on and remove the battery and the sim card . Put the battery back in without the sim . Turn the phone on . When the phone has loaded remove the battery whilst the phone is on . Replace the sim and the battery and see if this has fixed your problem . If not you will need a repair
