There could be a few potential causes for this issue with your Triumph-Adler 2500ci printer. Here are some possible causes and solutions you can try:
Empty or low toner: If the toner cartridge is empty or low on toner, it can cause the printer to produce blank or faint prints. To fix this, you can try replacing the toner cartridge with a new one or refilling the existing cartridge with toner.
Clogged nozzles: The printer nozzles, which are responsible for distributing ink or toner onto the paper, can sometimes become clogged with dirt or dried ink. To fix this, you can try cleaning the nozzles using a cotton swab and some isopropyl alcohol.
Malfunctioning fuser unit: The fuser unit is responsible for melting the toner onto the paper, and if it is malfunctioning, it can cause the printer to produce poor quality prints. To fix this, you may need to replace the fuser unit.
Software issues: If there are issues with the printer driver or software, it can cause the printer to malfunction. To fix this, you can try updating the printer driver or reinstalling the printer software.
Hardware issues: If the printer is experiencing hardware issues, it can cause it to produce poor quality prints. To fix this, you may need to have the printer repaired by a professional.
I hope this information is helpful. If these solutions do not resolve the issue, it is recommended to contact a professional for further assistance.

Toner sensor problem or Developer problem
Description
Toner sensor problem
• The sensor output voltage is outside the range of 0.5 to 4.5 V during toner control.
• The toner sensor control voltage cannot be set within the setting range when maintenance item U130 is run.
Causes
Defective toner sensor. Poor contact of the toner sensor connector terminals. Developer problem.
Defective Fixing Unit... Poor contact in the thermistor connector terminals, bad thermistor, broken heater lamp wire or some other contact problem related to fixing section. If it is possible, check with another Fixing Unit.
There is a fix for this. But only a Panasonic tech has access to the parts for the fix. The toner sensor underneath must be moved closer to the cartridge, you are not low on toner.
Take Out Toner Cartridge. Looking straight through there should be a tiny switch that tells the machine there is a toner cartridge present. It might have just gotten out of position or may be broken, which means you'll have to replace it!
