Yes that could be horrid. Try setting the tv as your only screen. If you go to l settings Navigate to the "Start" menu, and click it once to open it. Select "Control Panel." Click "Adjust Screen Resolution" under "Appearance and Personalization." Click the drop-down arrow next to "Multiple Displays" in the window that opens. Select "Show Desktop Only On 2." I'll start by saying your post indicates it is a Bosch, but you didn't specify the model number. It sounds like the "child lock" selection has been activated, either intentional or accidental.

To reset it on many Bosch it is as follows...(if this fails, please provide your model number)

1) Press the "menu" button until you see "CHILD LOCK :ON" appear in the display. ( if nothing is pressed within 10 sec.following this the menu will close and it will default to program in the display )

2) Once you see what I just mentioned in the display press the "select" button until "CHILD LOCK :OFF" appears in the display.

3) Finally by pressing the "start/pause" button the key symbol should disappear confirming you have successfully exited the child lock program.

**Many times you can also push and hold the start key for several seconds and this too will deactivate the selection...on various models**

Is it possible that you accidently hit one of the buttons across the top of the keyboard that swaps your display to an external display?

Have you tried the following:

Hold the FN key down and hit the CRT/LCD button?

Just right click on a BLANK area of screen and select the graphic properities from there

depending on the operating syetem vista and windows 7 will actually offer you the "change resolution" option near the bottom of the pop up when you do that.

change your display setting to properly display

right click anywhere on desktop, click view. you should have the show desktop icons checked. if not, just click on it to check. there you will see the desktop icons. hope it helps.

ok try starting in safe mode, keep pressing f8 on startup till menu appears, then run system restore if safe mode works

Earlier i posted a question requesting how to switch off the service light on my Renault Clio, i have found an answer to thios, as follows.

Turn on the ignition, but don't start the car. On the right stalk there is a toggle switch that hinges up and down, and is used for going through the different features of the display. When the display shows 'Service Due' press and hold the top part of this switch for 10 seconds until the dispaly resets and it shows 30,000km or whatever until next service.

all of the above is correct apart from pressing the toggle button. if you instead press the bottom toggle button for 10 seconds the display will start to flash. Keep button depressed and 5 seconds later the service counter will reset.
I know this works as i have just done it myself,
I hope this will help many others .

The limitation is your inbuilt LCD screen resolution (1024 X 600) on the Mini 10v.
You could upgrade to a Mini 10 with 10.1 inch HD display (1366x768) WLED but it would be quite expensive.
The simple solution is to use an external monitor.
