I have misplaced my service book for my Hotpoint FDW70 and have a 'A05' error message on the face panel and it stops after a couple of minutes - any ideas?

A99 is a communication error. Try unplugging your dishwasher for 10 minutes and then try it again. If you still get an A 99 code that suggests a problem in the control board in the dishwasher. In this instance I recommend an engineer as it can be extremely difficult to fault find this error.
You do not mention the make/model of the machine. On a Hotpoint that error message would be "Heater relay cannot be activated - Book a washing machine repair." If you do not have a Hotpoint the message may mean something else.
Hi,
"Error A05 - Pressure switch has not been reset "
This is centered around the filter and drain area not working properly.
It is possible it just needs the filter cleaning and the hose flushing out, but also possible the pump needs to come out to clean it properly.
Drain it by putting the hose low down, and clean the filters of debris.
If this does not fix it, then remove the unit outside, lie on it's back and remove the pump to clean it.
i have the same on my dishwasher and have just been looking on the net. Found out that the error code A10 means open/short circuit fill value traic. Whatever that means!!! and to book a service engineer. Hope that helps
