I've a IP1880 Canon PIXMA printer. The printer is showing Ink absorber full. we ave changed the cartridge also, but the result is same. I've only one printer & the work load is immense. PLease Help!!
Pixma ip 1880 is full(solution)
1. first unplug power cable and usb cable
2. hold power for 1-2 minutes
3. turn on power
4. your printer should back to normal printing
It was a good idea but still it is full what can i do is it really in the cartridge located the ink absorber?
It is a common issue with most canon printers.....So the advice i like to share with u is,first u need to empty the waste ink tank absorber on the printer and would like to let u know that changing to a new cartridge would not solve this problem as this has something to do with the printer and not the cartridge.
So once u empty the waste ink tank absorber (something similar to a small sponge..ie: it is the place where your excess ink goes. U should take off that ink as it has reached the maximum point of absorbing and it's unable to absorb more ink) your printer should work fine.
Hope this helps.
