DRIVERS i just reformatted and i do not have a driver disk all i want is to be able to get on the internet to update my drivers I NEED AN ETERNET DRIVER FOR DOWNLOAD TO TAKE TO ANOTHER COMPUTER

Yes you can but windows ME need the drivers of that adapter and (Very important ) The software for the wireless because ME don`t have wireless supported software as compare of xp,vista or 7 .
Make sure you have latest and updated drivers for the adapter and it should support ME .

I believe you have an audio driver problem. What you can try is to use the drivers and utilities disk that your dealer gave you when you purchased your computer unit. Install all the necessary drivers and utilities and I'm sure you will have your sound/audio back.
In case you don't have a drivers and utilities disk with you try to go to windows update using internet explorer browser. Find updates from microsoft windows update. Once the updates are found, try to check the custom updates not the priority updates. On the left side of the screen you will find a selection of updates try to click on the hardwqare(optional) updates if you find a n update on your audio device then select and install. reboot your computer after all the updates are installed and check your audio after reboot

Dear Valued Member, First of all you will need to check the device drivers existing in your current setting. For that you can download System Information Viewer (SIV) you can find the total details of existing drivers in your pc. copy the details for every option and save it on notepad, I will suggest you to transfer that .txt file on usb or disk. before formatting the pc try to find out the drivers on internet according to SIV list. then go for Format the PC. for further enquiry please proceed with comment on this same post.....Good Luck...

i would start with getting all the updates for the computer ... check your device driver to see any errors . or if you have the recovery discs you could pull the drivers from there . hope this helps ... if not let me know
