Our Whirlpool makes a howling noise

Our Whirlpool Quiet partner III is not quiet AT ALL! It makes a howling noise, which occurs when the dishes are being sprayed with water. How can we fix this??

Hello-  Debris in sump can cause noise, but if unit is 5yrs or older, motor bearings are failing. Part about 100$. Have installation instructions if needed. Let me know if this info helps -have more if needed. -Thanks-ED

yes its a bad inlet valve. sometimes you can turn down the house valve the washer is connected to a little to stop the noise.othe then that replace the inlet valve.
