Our Whirlpool Quiet partner III is not quiet AT ALL! It makes a howling noise, which occurs when the dishes are being sprayed with water. How can we fix this??
Hello- Debris in sump can cause noise, but if unit is 5yrs or older, motor bearings are failing. Part about 100$. Have installation instructions if needed. Let me know if this info helps -have more if needed. -Thanks-ED

Hi, It sounds like the control unit has gone bad and you will have to replace it...the replacement is not very hard, just make sure to mark the wires so you get them back were they belong on the new unit.
yes its a bad inlet valve. sometimes you can turn down the house valve the washer is connected to a little to stop the noise.othe then that replace the inlet valve.
