My new Black Max 24v drill charger will not charge the battery

You indicate that the drill is new. I'd suggest you return it for a replacement. Seems to be a defective or wrong charger. If you have problems and If you paid by credit card call the card company and have them stop payment on that charge.

Write a registered letter to the black Max official headquarter stating that you did make your charger replace cpl times and asking for full refund otherwise you'd get into court procedures... Easy and effective way to have result.

The battery is not charging?

check the conecking prongs on the battery and the charger. also check the charger, make sure its charging if not check the fuss in the charger. some battery of that type wear out and wont take a charge my need a new battery

Charge for no more than1 hour ..any longer and you have to start over ....don't know why the red light won't come on, but after a few tries, I just observe the less than 1 hour time limit.

Black Max 24v power drill

Allied International sells them at 1-800-248-6657, drill part # JDB240R. Have the part number from your drill available (on the label on side or top of drill...a number like 33643)
