My jenn air single oven does not maintain temperatures, when set at 350 it shows 250. It is 15 years old, model #br is W131B

this is what you most likely need. Age, or the clean cycle, can cause them to start to malfunction.

It is inside the oven, and comes out/goes in pretty easily, but you have to be careful when removing the old one, not to loose the wires in the hole, because then you have to pull the unit out from the wall and remove the back in order to plug the new one in.

Older jenn air wall unit oven / turn knob

Yes, I just had same problem. The probe receptical is on the right inside wall of the oven. A little flapper door is secured by a single phillips screw. Remove this screw and the flapper door. Gently remove the receptical and its attached cable adapter. With your screw driver short the connector extension to the housing, just as the probe would. This should reset the meal temperature sensor. Try the bake and problem should be gone. If not permanently short this connection with a wire. You won't be able to use your probe, but the oven will work.

How do you get a Jenn air oven out of the wall???

The JennAir website should have the installation manual for download. Go there, type on your model number, and it should come up.

Sometimes these ovens just get "stuck" in place, and take some easy levering to break free, or to help you find other fasteners.

Jenn-Air built in oven Model W188-C, Serial # 210764UC approx 1987

Big oops, Millwood. Shut power to the unit immediately and wait a day or more for it to dry out. If it works then, fine. If not, you've got a learning experience installing a new pad.
