You have to download the driver from the following options and run it. The cd has been shipped for the xp version only. Should not be a problem further on. Download them to your desktop and run it.
REgds,
You will need to know if you need 32 or 64 bit drivers...
1. Click start.
2. In the left column Right-click on 'Computer', now click 'Properties'
3. You'll see what you need under the System Type entry. (See image below.)
4. Once downloaded, double-click the file and follow the directions.
You can download the drivers from HP: Offiecjet 7410 Windows 7 x32
Officejet 7410 Windows 7 x64
What you need to do is go to the manufacturs website and see if they have the updated device driver software for windows 7 it usally will be in download format under support and drivers. just type in the device model under drivers for windows 7
Go to the following HP website and download the printer driver for Windows 7. Good luck!

Sounds like your printer isn't configured for "sharing." Go to Control panel > Network and Sharing Center > Choose homegroup and sharing options. Make sure Printer has a check mark.
If you have any other computers, check them to see if you can print from them.
