Oven won't heat

Something blew last night when we had the bottom oven heating in order to cook dinner. Light still works but now it won't heat up. Top oven is working OK (thankfully!). What's the problem and can it be fixed? Oven is just over 3 years old.

How to test oven control board on a Frigidaire FEF366DBE?

Hello Shawn Lloyd, thank you for your post!

I see that your Frigidaire range blew the breaker to your home out and now the oven will not heat up properly. There is not information provided in order to test the control panel I would recommend having a professional technician for proper diagnosis and repair. The technician will be able to use appropriate tools in order to verify the control panel is working properly. -Matt

Oven Won't Heat To Desired Temp / Burner Quits Working Sometimes

The temperature sensor in the oven needs to be replaced. Here is the part to order. As far as the top element, lift the top up and look for lose or broken wires on the element. Keep me posted.

Hotpoint oven bu72 gave out loud bang when cooking dinner and blew trip, reset trip and whilst top oven and grill work we cannot get any heat from main bottom oven

Sounds like the element has internally shorted to earth and will have to be replaced by a qualified Techo.
While this may have caused a fright...think how lucky you are that the Safety Switch was invented as a fail safe lifesaver!
